This document outlines operational policies controlling the management and use of archives and collections in the care of Historic Environment Scotland (HES).

A suite of operational policies governing the control and management of archives and collections in the care of Historic Environment Scotland.  

Approved by the HES Board in March 2017 and endorsed by the National Records of Scotland and Museums Galleries Scotland, these policies meet the standards required for Archive Service Accreditation and Museum Accreditation.
